Happy Sunday!! My mom and grandma decided to come for a visit this weekend and mother nature decided it would be fun to dump a bunch of snow on us. After having several days of 70 degree weather the snow was not something we looked forward too. Either way we are still enjoying our visit together, even if it involved a lot of sitting indoors instead of grilling outside. I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!

Irish car bomb cupcakes!!! Have you lived in Ireland through the troubles? I have and it’s not something to joke about!!! You should bloody be ashamed
Hi Hilary. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea that the name of the cupcake recipe I linked to could be seen as harmful or a “joke” about something so terrible. The cupcake recipe that is linked to in my post, the author mentions is in reference to a popular American drink. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, as now with a little research I can see how harmful that name is.
Hi Amanda, First I will apologise for thinking that you had named the cupcakes and secondly thank you for removing them. It’s a part of history now mostly but history can repeat itself unfortunately and some people who have never lived through the troubles (sorry to say but it’s mostly Americans with roots to Ireland in one way or another )like to think they are showing patriotism by doing stupid things like naming cupcakes that horrendous name. Once again, I am truly sorry I mistook you as the original creator and a lesson to me is….read the whole page before attacking the messenger. Take care and stay safe x
