As someone who is struggling with infertility, even if I don’t speak out about it often, I have heard all of these things from family, friends, and acquaintances. A lot of these responses are just things people say, most with good intentions, because they aren’t sure exactly what they should say to a couple struggling. But this article touches on why some of those things can actually be hurtful, and what you should say instead.
