Instructions
Preheat oven to 350, and grease a 9x9 glass baking dish.
Peel, slice, core apples. Place apple in baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and egg.
Spread flour mixture over apples in baking dish.
In a microwave safe glass, melt butter and pour over apples.
Place dish in oven and bake for 1 hour or until the apples are cooked and top is golden brown.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
