Ingredients

fresh green beans
frozen works too
1/2
medium
white onion
finely diced

strips bacon

crushed garlic
salt and pepper to taste

vegetable broth
or chicken broth
Instructions
In a frying pan, cook the bacon until just cooked through. You don't want it too crispy.
Once the bacon is cooled, chop into small chunks.
In the pot of a slow cooker, add in the green beans, cooked bacon, garlic, salt and pepper. Then cover the green beans with vegetable broth.
Replace the lid and cook on low for 8 hours for fresh green beans, 5 hours for frozen
