Instructions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine cream cheese and whipping cream. Beat together until resembles a thick whipped cream.
Add in canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice until well incorporated.
Beat in powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time, until desired frosting consistency is reached.
Frost completely cooled vanilla cupcakes. Refrigerate any leftovers.
Notes
If mixture is too thick, add in small amount of milk or whipping cream. If too thin, add in more powdered sugar.
