6 Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies

2 overripe bananas 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce 1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice) 2 cups rolled oats or quick oats 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon  1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Step 1

Mash the overripe bananas with a fork until smooth

Step 2

Mix in the applesauce and milk of choice. Stir until combined

Step 3

Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon and rolled oats. Mix until well incorporated.

Step 4

Stir in the chocolate chips or other mix-in of choice if using, such as dried fruit or nuts

Step 5

Place dough on the baking sheet in spoonfuls. Use the back of the spoon to flatten each cookie

Step 6

Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, until edges turn golden brown
