Ingredients

butter

heavy cream
or whole milk

garlic powder

dried parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste

grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
Increase the heat to medium, and add in the heavy cream.
Bring the sauce to a low boil slowly, stirring continuously to avoid scalding.
Reduce the heat to medium-low.
Simmer the alfredo sauce for about 5 minutes, or until the homemade alfredo thickens.
Remove the homemade alfredo sauce from heat and slowly whisk in the seasonings and Parmesan cheese.
Serve this homemade alfredo with pasta, or as a dipping sauce.
