Feminine and Modern Blush Wallpapers

I’ve been searching and searching for a beautiful, feminine and modern, blush wallpaper for my home office makeover. Originally I had chosen this rose gold geometric paper, but realized that it is a “paste the wall” type of paper. Meaning I would need to use some sort of glue to place it on my walls. I’m really not sold on doing that, especially after seeing the trouble my mom is having removing a lot of the wallpaper they put up in their house 20 years ago. I’m sure the glue has come a long long way since then, but I still don’t want to chance it.

Instead, I’ve been searching for the perfect peel and stick blush wallpaper for my feminine home office accent wall. I’ve decided on this one here and I can’t wait to put it up! But since I’ve done the searching already, I thought I’d share some of my favorite feminine and modern blush wallpapers that I’ve come across.

Paste the Wall Type Wallpapers

These papers may be listed as non pasted, or “paste the wall” wallpapers. This basically means that you get a roll of thick paper and you’ll need wallpaper paste to hang it. Typically you’ll put the glue directly onto the surface you are papering, then apply the wallpaper with a smoothing tool. In my searches, I’ve found that non pasted or paste the wall papers are generally less expensive. Keep in mind you’ll still need to purchase the glue and tools.

I’ve done some research and there are lots of different homemade wallpaper pastes out there that you can try, some even swearing that you can remove and REUSE the paper. I don’t know if I buy that, but it may be worth a try! I used a homemade version of wallpaper paste when I made over this bookcase a few years ago. It worked great and the paper never started peeling, but I don’t know that if I did take it down if I’d be reusing it. Sadly that bookcase didn’t make our last move because I’m clumsy 😉

Here are some of my favorite feminine and modern blush wallpapers that require glue.

Peel and Stick Removable Wallpapers

These wallpapers are a little more expensive, but not by much. Think of them as a better quality contact paper, with a stronger adhesive. Installation is easy, and doesn’t require a bunch of extra tools. It’s recommended to place most of these removable wallpapers onto a primed surface. It’s also recommended that you wait for the paint to fully cure (about a week) before applying. Always read the instructions carefully before purchasing though!

Here are some of my favorite peel and stick feminine and modern blush wallpapers. I really love all of those florals!
