You can easily create a designated space for you or your guests to warm up on cold days with this simple and festive hot chocolate bar.
Wow! It’s already Day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop! If you’ve missed any of the previous days, you can start HERE and work your way back. It’s crazy to think we are already a week into December! Today’s theme is all about hot cocoa bars, so I created this super simple hot chocolate bar to warm up with on cold days. Thank you to Oriental Trading for providing me with the items to decorate this space!
Our kitchen has this giant brick warming oven in it that is on the side of our fireplace. It really is a pretty cool feature, but sadly our fireplace is non-operational so we never use the warming oven. But it DOES make a cool backdrop for my simple hot chocolate bar, doesn’t it? Scroll down to see all the details.
Welcome to the third annual 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

Simple Hot Chocolate Bar
Have you ever put together a hot chocolate bar? It’s not something that I would generally do, but I actually had a lot of fun doing it! I was inspired by the rustic buffalo plaid and holiday handicraft themed decor from Oriental Trading.
I have this simple white kitchen cart that is the perfect spot to decorate a hot chocolate bar. Plus, it gave me an excuse to make some new chalkboard art and display my hand-lettered coffee mugs that I made for Day 5.
This little silver 2 tiered server is the perfect spot to put some cookies to go along with the hot cocoa. These delicious low-carb snickerdoodles are the perfect touch.
If you want to see more of how I’ve decorated our house with the help of Oriental Trading, you’ll definitely want to keep checking out the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop!

Your chalkboard sign is great and really brings the hot chocolate bar together. I like the fun mugs and the fact they are large enough to warm your hands on. Great cocoa bar.
