Happy Labor Day!! I hope everyone is enjoying their extra long weekend (if you get one that is). Hubby and I have been busy the last few days working on projects around the house. I literally spent 3 hours pressure washing our house, driveway and patio yesterday and let me tell you–I am SO sore today. Who knew that hosing everything down would take so much out of you!

Today I am tackling some indoor projects like painting shelves and touching up some trim. At least I won’t be outside in the sun (getting burnt) and it should give my back and shoulder muscles a rest.


I have another monthly meal plan ready for you all! If you missed last month’s I explained that I am sharing my meal plans with you the first Monday of each month, rather than posting a weekly meal plan. I have found that I really prefer planning out our meals a month at a time rather than weekly. This also cuts down on how often I have to go to the grocery store.

So here is our meal plan for the month of September!

Week of 9/5

Week of 9/12

  • Monday–Tacos, chips and salsa
  • Tuesday–Lemon Chicken and broccoli
  • Wednesday–Taco Salad (with leftover taco meat)
  • Thursday–Sausage and Spinach pasta
  • Friday–Sloppy Joes, fries
  • Saturday–Cajun chicken pasta, salad
  • Sunday–Rotisserie style chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans
